The Gospel of Jesus Christ
Do you have peace with God?
Have you had your sins forgiven?
Recognize Your Condition.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Rom. 3:23)
The Bible says that all men are sinners. Nobody is perfect, because we all have broken God's law.
Realize the punishment for sin is death (in hell), separated from God forever.
For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom. 6:23)
Wages means payment that we deserve. We cannot earn the gift of eternal life.
Realize you cannot be good enough to go to heaven.
For by grace our ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8,9)
Being religious, being kind, and getting baptized will not help you go to heaven.
The Good News is that Jesus paid for our sins!
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Rom. 5:8)
All of our sins were laid on Christ on the cross. He paid for our sin with his blood, to declare us righteous before our holy God.
Salvation is a free gift paid for by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Rom. 10:9,10,13)
It is a heart decision that we each must make. Will you believe that Jesus is enough to save you? Do you believe that his sacrifice on the cross in your place is enough to satisfy God the Father?
Respond in faith today by personally receiving Christ alone as our Saviour.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. (John 1:12)
Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:21)
Reject trusting in anything else, and rest alone on the finished work of Christ for you.
